MESSAGE TO RIGBY EMPLOYEES FROM STEVEN

Today you will be receiving two communications regarding
the Harcourt acquisition. (See below) The first will
be from Crispin
Davis, CEO, Reed Elsevier, and the second that will
follow will come from Tony
Lucki, CEO Harcourt Education Group.
Please read each letter carefully as they will share important
information about Education and Rigby, who remains a visible
and dedicated division within Reed Elsevier's education
portfolio, and will now join the Harcourt Education group
of companies to form a dynamic new U.S. Schools Group for
Reed Elsevier.
We will hold department meetings on Monday, July 16 where
I will provide related information regarding the acquisition
and answer questions. I will also plan to speak with our
field based colleagues next week as well. I appreciate your
patience until we are able to get together.
